Rhythm in Twentieth-Century British Poetry is an international conference bringing together specialists in metre, in poetic rhythm, and in poetry. Two days of panel discussions will encourage formal and informal dialogue between participants and conference attenders.
The keynote address is by Derek Attridge.

The conference has been organised on behalf of the Société d'études anglaises contemporaines, with support from the Ecole Normale Supérieure Lettres et Sciences Humaines, from LIRE, and from the Centre d'études poétiques.
